Family Fun Day at Fulham Palace

A bouncey castle... in a palace?

A construction company contacted us to assist them in organising a well earned summer family fun day at Fulham Palace. Here are some photos by Lloyd Dobbie from the event.

Highlights included:

 - a bouncey castle

 - candy floss and popcorn carts

 - a cork shoot and a cocounut shy

 - a penalty shootout competition

 - wonderful canapes and bowl food (full family fun day menu here >> )

 - entertainment and a posh hot dog dinner for the children 

 - a full BBQ and full bar for the adults

Birthday Celebrations: The Thank you

Dear Julie,
I wanted to say a big thank you for everything.
Our party was a huge success with all of our friends and family commenting on how wonderful it was.
Everything ran seamlessly. The Orangery looked beautiful (you knew what you were doing…), the food was delicious and despite our friends’ best efforts, as you predicted, the bar did not run out of booze!
Mark and I both had a fantastic time and thanks to you and the Bovingdons team we had a completely stress free evening and were able to relax and simply enjoy our party.
Chris was a true professional and the service staff and barman did a fantastic job – as of course did the chefs behind the scenes!

Birthday Celebrations: The Menu

Here is a recent menu from a birthday event at The Orangery Holland Park. The couple wanted informal yet elegant, small and delicious food for their party. It was passed amoungst guests so that they could mingle and chat. Here is the menu:

Ricotta cakes of oven dried tomatoes & basil

Parmesan risotto balls with fresh herbs and lemon

Quails egg Royal: brioche croute, smoked salmon, poached quails egg and hollandaise

Sushi rolls of tuna with micro shoots with garnish

Mini bagels of smoked salmon and cream cheese

Beefeater 24 Gin & Tea Event - The Thank you

On behalf of Chivas Brothers, I would like to say thank you very much to you and your team for the excellent work that you did for us at the Beefeater distillery last week.

You took the brief/briefs from us very well, adapted accordingly each time and then delivered fantastic food with great service. On the day, everything from a client point of view was very slick and both Benita and Tony played a blinder.

Dear Julie,
Just to say how absolutely magnificently everything went last night. Maurizio was amazingly supportive to me, and so was everyone else. It was quite clear that each person had been carefully trained, and they all did so much to make the whole evening the success it was. The service was superb, and everyone was full of praise for the food, even one very senior television executive who goes to such things all the time. As someone else with lots of experience of entertainment (ex-head of the Publishers' Association) said to me today, "not only delicious food but stylish as well"... I've been enormously impressed by your grip and attention to detail and willingness to do that bit more ... It's little things like always acknowledging e-mails quickly and giving up time to talk, and coming yourself to check that things would be all right."

Julie, you were totally my rock from start to finish...  I loved your honesty! Tony, you were a tremendous support on the day and you seemed completely calm from the start and it was a great relief to know that Laura and Benita were always at the end of a phone line.
